Wedding plans

Cristy's vision of her wedding is set a on a hill in a beautiful exotic place overlooking gorgeous scenery with generous foliage and colorful flowers. Her family and closest friends have flown in from far away to celebrate this special occasion with her and her groom. It is a special and memorable day.

In actuality, Cristy and Neal have chosen to have the location of their wedding at the San Antonio Temple. The temple sits on a hill, overlooking the scenic land around it in the beautiful Hill Country of Texas. The temple is a special and sacred place where eternal covenants and promises are made with God, and where Cristy and Neal will be sealed for time and eternity.

Keeping with the "intimate affair" feeling, they have chosen to have a "garden open house" in each family location - one at the Seegmiller's in San Antonio and the other hosted at the Dahl's (a close family friend of the Lius) in Flower Mound. They hope to spend time in "more personal conversations" and be able to enjoy the company of those that attend.

In lieu of the traditional "rehearsal dinner," there will be a traditional Chinese 10-course feast for family and relatives to enjoy.

Cristy has almost no time for wedding planning since she is a 3rd year medical student. She wants to enjoy and have fun with this special time, but it is getting stressful. Her sister Grace has been helping out and so has Cristy's mom. Neal is super helpful and supportive. His parents are also very supportive and are taking care of most all of the San Antonio details.
